Can I use my own vendors?
Yes you can! While the stone barn does have many local vendors that they highly recommend- we do not require that you use them. If you are in need of some really amazing local vendors while at The Stone Barn please feel free to email us- many of our local preferred vendors offer discounts that may be helpful during the planning process. Your can also find a list of our preferred vendors on out Preferred Vendors page on our web site.
Occupancy- What is the max number of guest I can have?
The Stone Barn is really unique in the sense that it can accommodate many different types of events- whether it is a small function or a large wedding. The Stone Barn has two different floors that can be used during rental, along with our outdoor space that is perfect for a large tent.
The bottom floor of the barn can be used as either an indoor ceremony space that can seat up to 200 guests for a ceremony or a reception space- that can seat 80-100 guests.
The upstairs loft space is just as unique with its hard wood floors and tall exposed beam ceilings,wagon wheel lighting and outdoor deck- it can seat up to 200 guests for a ceremony and depending on the desired layout it can seat up to 150 guests for a reception space.
Our two outdoor ceremony spaces, that over look the beautiful barn, and the country fields, can comfortably fit 100-300 guests.
Our outdoor tent space can hold tents ranging in size from 100 to 350 guests; the tent is not included in the rental.
What's included ?
WEDDINGS: The Stone Barn is unique in the sense that it only accepts one wedding per weekend. This allows our renters to have the most relaxed and best experience possible. When you rent The Stone Barn for your special day you receieve a TWO day rental- the day before your event and your wedding day; this allows you to have your rehearsal, as well as set up and decorate for your wedding a day in advance. This is a unique advantage that you will not find at any other venue in the area. You also get to use our white wedding chairs(limited number), and long tables as well as our indoor speaker system, bridal suites- that includes male and female dressing areas, out door fire pit with supplied wood and kitchen prep area, as well as both levles of the barn and outdoor areas.
SMALLER PARTIES: For smaller events such as birthday parties, reunions, bridal showers or baby showers we allow you to use the bottom portion of the barn and outdoor areas, tables and chairs for up to 100 guests, indoor speaker system as well as our kitchen prep area.
Can I cook on site?
The Stone Barn does have a space where you or your caterers can only prep food for service to your guests. They, however, cannot prepare/cook food onsite. All food that is being served to guests must be prepared off site first. There is a refrigerator that may be used by the renters or the caterers to keep food cold, but there is no stove or microwave oven on site.
The Only exception to cooking on site is for catering companies who are hired who have a food truck that is licensed.
Please note: For weddings, you must use a certified or licensed catering company of your choosing for your food service; we do not allow meals to be self catered. The Catering company must be there through the entire food service making sure everything is taken care of. They must also have at least 3 qualified and responsible people helping with service at all times. For smaller parties such as graduation parties, birthdays or showers you are welcome to self cater- but please note that the Stone Barn is NOT a licensed kitchen and does not have a stove or microwave on site.
Booking and Pricing
We at The Stone Barn really look forward to speaking with you about booking your event. If you would like to visit The Stone Barn and have a tour of the grounds, please contact us today so we can set up an appointment; tour days and times very on the season but are usually scheduled Monday - Thursday, at a time that works best for you. The Stone Barn does not hold any dates for any event without a signed event contract and a minimum non-refundable deposit. For pricing information about your event please contact us. our pricing is based off of everything that we offer to our guests as well as the the type of event and date chosen to host your event, winter rates are available.

Can we bring our own alcohol on site?
The Stone Barn allows you to bring your own alcohol onsite for your event. However, The Stone Barn does not have a liquor license and requires all alcohol be contained in an open bar set up, controlled by a certified/licensed bartender at all times. We hire all bartenders, the number of bartenders and costs are based off of the number of guests that you have. All of age guests must provide a valid ID in order to drink on the property. We do not allow shots of alcohol to be served. Alcohol can never be sold on property, everything must be in an open bar concept. The Stone Barn reserves the right to control all functions on its property and asks that if you do supply alcohol for your event, that all guests behave in an appropriate manor. We reserve the right to shut down the bar at any point in time if we feel guests are being over served, serving themselves, or if the situation becomes out of hand.
We DO NOT allow outside alcohol to be provided by event guests for their own enjoyment.
